Exercise Ball Exercises To Get Your Body In Good Condition
The exercise balls are gaining a lot of popularity in this day and age as they are a highly versatile piece of equipment that is used for exercising. These balls will help to improve the flexibility, co-ordination, balance and strength. When you turn to exercise ball exercises, you can count on strengthening your muscles. Most frequently, you will find that your abdominal muscles and back muscles are going to be developed the most. You have exercises such as knee tucks, stability ball plank holds and exercise ball ab crunches. Don抰 let that short list fool you, as there are tons more that you can do. Those however, just so happen to be some of our personal favorites.
Opposite limb extension ?With this exercise, you will be getting those buns of steel you have always wanted. It will target the lower back and the glutes. It is also going to target those hamstrings and test your balance at the same time. Lay flat with your stomach on the fitness ball and your legs and arms extended. Your toes and fingertips should be touching the floor. Make sure you keep your body straight. Your head should be in line with your body and facing the floor. Start by lifting your right arm up along with your left leg.
Hold those limbs in the air and count to three. On the count of four, return them back to the normal position and repeat the same thing with your other arm and leg. You should start by doing four repetitions of these. After a couple of weeks, you will be able to increase that number up to eight or more.
The next exercise we enjoy is the balances push up/ This is where you are going to notice just how firm that fitness ball is. In our opinion, we believe this exercise is very fun. You will be so focused on staying on that ball that you are going to forget how tough that exercise is.
When you have gotten your body stabilized on the ball, you will be using your back muscles and abdominal muscles and you may not even realize it. This will definitely help get you a six-pack. It is also going to work your triceps and shoulders.
